Come potete notare da queste foto, ho voluto ricreare il Presepe, un altro simbolo del Natale. Ho utilizzato la tecnica del decoupage per fare le pareti per lo sfondo e con pasta di neve, muschio, ovatta, ho ricreato il piano di appoggio per le statuine. Per ottenere un effetto festoso, non poteva mancare un fiocco di nastro per “guarnire” il tutto.

Altra variante della lanterna decorata potrebbe un Babbo Natale.

As you can see from these pictures, I wanted to recreate the nativity, another symbol of Christmas. I used the technique of decoupage to make the walls for the background and pasta with snow, moss, cotton wool, I have recreated the ground plane for the figurines. Queste sono le palle di Natale che ho fatto per il Natale che sta arrivando….. cordincini e nastri sono stati i protagonisti… il tutto con alcune “chicche” come stelline, campane, foglie di pungitopo e bacche.

These are the christmas balls I made for Christmas is coming ….. string and tapes have been strong … all with some “goodies” such as stars, bells, holly leaves and berries.

Le palle di Natale qui si seguito sono state fatte con la tecnica del Patchwork, ho cercato di personalizzarle con le paiettes al posto del cordoncino. Ho usato la stessa tecnica per fare le stelline. Per l’albero di Natale di seguito invece ho usato la tecnica del Patchwork a carciofo.

Christmas balls here were then made with the technique of Patchwork, I tried to customize them with paiettes instead of the string. I used the same technique to make stars. For the Christmas tree below, I utilized the technique of Patchwork artichoke.

Questi Babbo Natale sono stati fatti con 2 palline…. ho ricoperto poi la pallina più grande con il feltro… ed ecco il risultato.

These Santa Claus were made with 2 balls …. Then I covered the ball with the largest felt… this is the result.

Queste scatole le ho decorate l’anno scorso; dopo una mano di vernice, ho decupato il coperchio e messo il nastro tutto attorno.
